Casting directors are in demand of actors, actresses, models, and talents to fill in various roles in the new feature film Magnificent Seven.
Magnificent Seven is a rehash of its original from 1960 of the same title, which was also a remake of Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai. Set in an old Mexican village, the film tells the story of a band of seven gunslingers in their mission to protect the community against the notorious group of outlaws.
Training Day stars and Oscar nominees Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke will be in the series along with Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy).
As the production makes its way to Louisiana, they are seeking for experienced stand-ins to be in the movie. Numerous slots are open for casting, and you must be available for five days of shooting per week, which will begin on May 18 until August 18, 2015. Shoot locations will be in Baton Rouge, St. Francisville, and Zachary, Louisiana. You must be at least 18 years of age to qualify for the project.
What they are looking for are a 6′ 1” African-American male, a 5′ 8” blond Caucasian female, a 6′ 1” Native American male, and a 5′ 8” Hispanic male.
They are also seeking for brunette Caucasian males for stand-in roles with heights ranging from 5′ 11” to 6′ 4”.
In addition to this, extras are sought for the project. Male and female talents of any ethnicity and all ages can apply. You will be portraying characters from the old west so you must look like people from that era. Men with facial hair are required. Ladies shouldn’t look modern.
All talents must be comfortable riding a horse.
Meanwhile, they want to cast male and female talents to portray upscale townspeople with a western look. You must be of either African-American or Caucasian ethnicity.
You will be working on a scene to be shot in Gonzales, Los Angeles on May 29.
Also, an arm or leg amputee is needed for the production of the series. You will be featured in multiple scenes that will be filmed from June to August in Baton Rogue.
