‘Marry Me’ Starring Jennifer Lopez Casting Call for High School Students

Lopez

Fresh from the success of her crime drama film Hustlers, Jennifer Lopez will soon be gracing the big screen again, this time in a romantic comedy film called Marry Me. And casting directors of the film are now filling background roles.

Based on the novel by Bobby Crosby, Marry Me is about a pop star who is set to get married only to find out the night before their wedding day that he’s been cheating on her with her assistant. On a performance night, she has a meltdown on stage and picks a random guy to marry and say I do to instead.

Starring alongside Lopez is Owen Wilson, who plays a math teacher and the guy Lopez’s character picks from the audience. Singer Maluma will also star. It will be directed by Kat Coiro (Shameless, Brooklyn 99) from a script by John Rogers and Tami Sagher.

To complete some scenes, casting directors of Marry Me are seeking boys and girls to play middle and high school students. Talent should be 12 to 17 years to be considered.
