Dennis Rodman: From North Korea to Alcohol Rehab

Past NBA great Dennis Rodman has have a swell of attention lately. He recently got some negative press for offensive comments he made while on a visit to North Korea for an exhibition game. Now, upon his return, he has checked himself into an alcohol rehabilitation program according to BBC News. When he was interviewed by CNN, he made several hostile comments concerning Kenneth Bae, who is anan American currently imprisoned in North Korea without formal charges. Rodman’s statements implied Kenneth Bae deserved his incarceration. His mood and attitude then seemed defensive and erratically angry toward subject. Rodman later apologized for the remarks and his conduct while in North Korea. He admitted that he was drunk during the aforementioned interview and acknowledged that he has an alcohol problem currently. He admitted himself to an alcohol rehabilitation center after returning to the US. Dennis Rodman is a well-known basketball player and actor. His acting jobs include the movie “Double Team” and the television series “The Apprentice.” He is a likeable and eccentric celebrity personality and is expected to rebound (no pun intended) from this latest episode.
