Rosario Dawson’s ‘Briarpatch’ Filling Featured Roles

USA Network just gave anthology drama Briarpatch a series order, and it will be headlined by Daredevil‘s Rosario Dawson. As production of the series kicks off, casting directors of the upcoming show are currently seeking talent to fill some featured roles. Based on the book of the same name by Ross Thomas, Briarpatch‘s first series follows investigator Allegra Dill (Dawson) as she returns to her hometown in Texas after her sister gets killed. But as she searches for the truth behind her sibling’s murder, Dill eventually finds herself in a complex game of lies and corruption involving her whole hometown. Now, casting directors are looking for actors and actresses to work on some scenes. For one, a Caucasian male with real pastor/minister/priest experience is needed to complete a scene. Applicant should be 55 to 85 years old to qualify. An African American female is also needed to fill another featured role. Talent should be 75 to 85 years old. Ten other actors are also needed.
