Fans of the Divergent series now get an official look on the upcoming sequel to the movie franchise. The over one minute teaser reveals the story’s heroine Beatrice “Tris” Prior against a dystopian wasteland. There she sees her mother inside a burning house and comes to her aid.

Insurgent is the second book in the popular young adult novel series written by Veronica Roth.

The series follows the story of Beatrice “Tris” Prior and her quest to explore her identity within a society defined by their social and personality related affiliation against the backdrop of a dystopian Chicago. The series features five factions namely Abnegation (Selfless), Dauntless (Brave), Erudite (Intelligent) , Amity (Peaceful) and Candor (Honest). The first film was released in 2014 and features Shailene Woodley, Ansel  Elgort, Theo Jemes and Kate Winslet.
