How to Use the Auditions Control Center on Your ExploreTalent Profile

When you become a Pro Member of ExploreTalent, a lot of great features on the site will be made available to you. The most important among them is being able to submit yourself directly to unlimited auditions, and being able to read messages that casting directors have sent to you directly. One important section of your profile that should be viewed daily is the Auditions Control Center panel. This is where you can read your Casting Director or CD Invitations, view your Self-Submissions, view your Open Call Invites, and view your Favorite Auditions/Jobs and CD Likes.

Auditions:The CD Invitations

The first thing that should be viewed from the Auditions Control Center panel is the CD Invitations feature. This is where you will find messages that were sent by casting directors to the primary email account you have placed on your profile. Please make sure to check your junk or spam folders, so that you won’t miss out on any responses from casting directors. There are two ways that you can receive a CD invitation. This first way is when a casting director has noticed that you have been pro-active on your account and knows that you are serious about your career. The second way is when you have already submitted to a role, and the casting director is responding to your submission. A typical response will be a request for additional information about yourself such as experience or bio data, or the casting director will be providing the location of a casting that they want you to want you to audition for. This is why it is vital to always be proactive and check your CD invitations daily. Here is the step by step process for viewing your CD Invitations.

Click on the orange Auditions Control Center button located at the upper right corner of your profile page.

As soon as you have done this, click on the My CD Invitations tab, which is the first of the five tabs under the My Auditions/Jobs Submission Center text and is located right next to your profile picture.

If you have received a CD Invitation, you will see a message that says- You are Wanted for an Audition.

To view the message from the casting director, click on the envelope icon located under the corresponding project.

Step 5:

If you received a message about a project that you have already submitted to, then most likely, the casting director is asking for additional information about yourself, or providing a location for the auditioned, as mentioned before. However, if the message is from a casting director that noticed your profile and wants you to apply to their project, simply click on the title of the project, and submit to the role that they are requesting you for.
