is the process where your body burns calories. The faster your metabolism is, the faster you can lose your extra weight. But faster metabolism also means getting hungry easily. So it is also important to create a diet or an eating habit that can help increase your metabolism yet shrink your appetite at the same time. For starters, here are five surprisingly easy ways that will help increase your metabolism and lessen your appetite.
Eat Your Breakfast
Your mother was right all along that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Breakfast not only gives you the energy to start your day, but eating a healthy breakfast (one without doughnuts) produces linked health benefits that include weight control and improvement in one’s performance in work or in studies. Studies show that both adults and children breakfast eaters tend to weigh less than those who skip their breakfast. Why? There are two leading theories on this. One theory says that regularly eating a healthy breakfast can lessen hunger throughout the day. Also, eating breakfast can help people make better food choices for their other meals for the whole day. You may think that if you skip breakfast, you could save some calories, but this has been proven to be a wrong strategy. Breakfast-skippers tend to get hungrier as the day goes on. As a result, breakfast-skippers eat more at lunch and at their other meals. The other theory links breakfast and weight control. The theory states or believes that eating breakfast is part of a healthy lifestyle, which includes making wise and healthy food choices and balancing calories with exercise. The theory points at the study of the National Weight Control Registry where 80 percent of the people who lost at least 30 pounds and kept it off for a year where regular breakfast eaters and follower of calorie-controlled, low-fat diet.
Grab a Protein-Loaded Breakfast
Eat breakfast loaded with protein. Why protein? Simple, protein is very important for your body. Protein-loaded breakfast can help you feel full throughout the day, thus staving off your cravings for snacks between meals or late at night. According to
