The trailer of The Fault in our Stars Attracts Readers to the Novel

The Fault in our Stars, the best-selling novel by John Green published two years ago, has seen an all-new boost in sales and attention this week.

The new found surge in popularity is due to the online premiere of the trailer for the upcoming movie adaptation. According to the Los Angeles Times, the trailer was posted Wednesday, and on Thursday the novel was the number one seller on amazon.com. There is a multitude of interest and anticipation surrounding the film, and it has attracted an army of new readers to the novel as well.

The story of “The Fault In Our Stars” follows the romance between sixteen-year-old cancer patient Hazel and seventeen-year-old amputee Augustus Waters. After their initial encounter at a support group meeting, the two begin a romantic relationship.

Actress Shailene Woodley will portray Hazel in the screen adaptation, as she prevailed in the acting auditions for the film. The actor who won the role of Augustus in the movie auditions is Ansel Elgot. Through their acting studies and the use of acting tips, these two performers were cast for this movie.
