  This year, moviegoers will have definitely have a lot to look forward to. You will see the return of many classic film franchises to the big screen like Star Wars and Jurassic World. Best seller books turned into films like the Hunger Games series and Fifty Shades of Grey will be bringing in a lot of fanfare for everyone as well.

  Star Wars 7: The Force Awakens, directed by J. J. Abrams, is the seventh installment in the Star Wars film franchise. The upcoming Star Wars movie will be set 30 years following the events of the 1980 films. The film stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Adam Driver, Max von Sydow, with Harrison Ford, Mark Hammil, Peter Mayhew, Anthony Daniels and Kenny Baker reprising their roles from the previous films. The film is slated for release on December 18, 2015.

  Fifty Shades of Grey is a romantic drama film based on E. L. James’ best-selling novel of the same name. It stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson. The upcoming romantic drama, directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, is set to be released on February 13, 2015. Fans of the highly regarded young adult erotica will be hitting the cinemas all over the world on the most romantic day of the year. The story focuses on the relationship between literature student Anastasia Steele and business magnate Christian Grey.

  There is no doubt that fans of the series and the late Paul Walker will have something to look forward to this year. The gang will be facing a new nemesis in the form of Jason Statham, who plays the role of the older brother of Furious 6’s villain Owen Shaw. The movie also features Paul Walker’s brother Cody Walker filling in for the late actor during the film’s finishing touches. Furious 7, the seventh installment in the Fast & Furious film franchise, stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Paul Walker, Lucas Black, Jason Statham, Michelle Rodriguez and Jordana Brewster.  It is scheduled for release on April 3, 2015.

  This latest addition to the Jurassic franchise will go forward to more than 20 years from the last Jurassic movie. The latest plot features the disaster that unfolded when the park’s supposed new attraction comes lose around the park. Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt, Vincent D’Onofrio, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Ty Simpkins, Jake Johnson and BD Wong. It will hit theaters on June 12, 2015.

  The fifth in the Terminator installment, the movie is intended to “reset” the whole of the series. It features the events from the first two Terminator series and sees the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger in his iconic role. The story centers on Kyle Reese, Sarah and the aging terminator, as they try to stop the only thing that the future fears, ”Judgment Day.” Terminator Genisys, directed by Alan Taylor, is scheduled to be released on July 1, 2015.

  Jupiter Ascending is an upcoming film, produced, written and directed by The Wachowskis. This space opera film features the life story of Jupiter Jones and her discovery of her destiny after meeting the interplanetary warrior named Caine Wise. It stars Mila Kunis, Channing Tatum, Eddie Redmayne, Sean Bean, Douglas Booth and Tuppence Middleton. It will hit theaters on February 6, 2015.

The movie will commemorate the 65th anniversary of the comic strip and will feature Charlie Brown and everyone’s lovable beagle Snoopy. The Peanuts Movie, features the voices of Bill Melendez and Noah Schnapp. The film follows the journey of Snoopy and his team to the skies, as well as Charlie Brown’s epic adventure back home. It is scheduled to be released on November 6, 2015.

The film’s plot follows the animated adaptation of Disney in 1950. However, there will be several twists. It is slated to hit theaters on March 13, 2015.

  This Disney and Pixar movie, Inside Out, will show how emotions guide us with our everyday lives. It focuses on the story of a little girl named Riley who deals with having moved to San Francisco. The film is based on Pete Docter’s original idea. He is directing the film as well, with Amy Poehler, Lewis Black, Bill Hader, Mindy Kaling and Phyllis Smith voicing the cast. It opens in cinemas on June 19, 2015.
