For male models, breaking into the fashion business is never a piece of cake. They have to gain the respect of photographers, fashion editors, designers, and even casting directors, before they can even make a name for themselves in the industry. While a great number of male print and runway models have made it to the top, there are those of them who retired from modeling to pursue better opportunities like acting in movies. Nevertheless, these men had their fair share of the modeling super-stardom before they eve began to venture into the world of show business. Below is our list of the sexiest male models of all time, some of whom have already transitioned into the acting world, while others are still going strong in modeling or juggling both:

  Actor and male models Kellan Lutz was born in Dickinson, North Dakota. He is best known for playing Emmett Cullen in the blockbuster film series, The Twilight Saga. While in high school, he had an opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic for one semester. There, he studied the country’s culture and learned how to speak Spanish. As a teenager, Lutz had picked up several modeling jobs. In 2006, he appeared in the commercial of Hilary Duff’s fragrance, With Love. Also, he was featured in Hinder’s music video, Without You. Lutz has acted on a variety of TV shows, which includes his recurring roles on Model Citizens, and smaller roles in C.S.I: NY, Six Feet Under, Heroes and The Bold and the Beautiful. He is currently signed with FORD Models. He is among the models featured in Calvin Klein’s 2010 underwear campaign.

Teixeira has since walked the runways for many major fashion labels, including Emporio Armani, Jean Paul Gaultier, Roberto Cavalli, Dolce & Gabbana, and DSquared. He has also been featured on magazine covers, such as Essential Homme, Fiasco, Hercules, Client and Made in Brazil.   The American model Noah Mills was born in Ontario, Canada, but was raised in Baltimore, Maryland. He already began his modeling career, while he was attending a university in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2003. At the age of twenty, he was at the peak of his career, working with various fashion agencies, including Wilhelmina Models. Eventually, he debuted as a runway model for Yves Saint Laurent and Gucci. He modeled their collections in an event in Paris and Milan. Mills has been featured in other fashion modeling events as well. He has opened the shows for Dolce & Gabbana, Michael Kors, and Versace. He has also worked with a number of established models, the likes of Naomi Campbell, Tyson Ballou and Claudia Schiffer. In 2012, he ranked number three in Models.com’s list called, “The Money Guys.” The following year, he ranked number five.

Before he graduated from the University, his housemate entered him into a modeling competition without his knowledge.
