Known for his roles as a Jedi Master and in the Star Wars franchise as well as the James Bond franchise, actor Khan Bonfils reportedly died after collapsing during a theater rehearsal in London.
Bonfils was rehearsing for Dante’s Inferno set to open at the Rag Factory in east London this week.
Both the paramedics and members of the Craft Theater Company were unable to revive the actor after he collapsed during rehearsals.
“The entire company is in shock. There is absolutely severe sadness, it is a real tragedy.”
Says Director Rocky Rodriguez Jr who performed the CPR. This is according to Chris Hislop, the company’s spokesman.
The late actor appeared in Skyfall where he played a henchmen and had a role in 1997’s Tomorrow Never Dies. He appeared opposite Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
The cause of death is yet to be determined.
