Selena Gomez’s ‘Thirteen Reasons Why’ Now Casting

A Netflix series called Thirteen Reasons Why is now casting roles for extras in San Francisco, California. They are seeking background extras to work on the new production.

Thirteen Reasons Why is a new Selena Gomez TV series for Netflix. The series was created by and written by Brian Yorkey, a Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award winner.

The show will follow a boy named Clay after he is given a shoebox of cassette tapes from his classmate Hannah who recently committed suicide. The tapes, which were mailed to pass from one student to another, have Hannah explaining the thirteen reasons she took her life.

Selena Gomez is a co-producer on the series. She said she read this book four or five years ago, and she just loved it. Now they are making their series.

The casting call is for background actors. This is open to all talents. All ages, backgrounds, and ethnicities welcome. They will be playing high-school students, basketball players, cheerleaders, parents, teacher, and other roles in the show.

The open casting call is on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at the Four Points Sheraton in San Rafael, California. Auditions are from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
