Casting directors of the NBC TV series, Shades of Blue, are now looking to cast extras for an upcoming scene that will be filmed in New York City. Shades of Blue is an upcoming American crime drama television series set in New York City. It follows the life of single mother Detective Harlee Santos from New York City, New York, who joins the anti-corruption task force of FBI, while dealing with her own financial issues. Created by Adi Hasak, the series will feature Jennifer Lopez in the lead role, and Ray Liotta, Warren Kole, Sarah Jeffery, Vincent Laresca, Drea de Matteo, and Dayo de Matteo in supporting roles. It is expected to air on NBC sometime in 2015 or 2016. For an upcoming scene, casting directors and producers of Shadows of Blue are looking for African American males and females, aged 18 to 60, to play NYPD roles. Ideally, they want to cast real or retired NYPD, or men and women, who have experience in the military. Also, they should know how to properly fold the American flag at a funeral. They are also looking for a male or female talent, aged 18 to 60, who owns a bugle and knows how to play it. Filming for both roles is on September 23 in New York City, so interested actors must hand in their applications on or before the said date.
