NBC’s hit medical drama Chicago Med is returning for a fifth season, and to complete some scenes, casting directors of the show are seeking several actors to take on featured and background roles. The third in Dick Wolf’s Chicago franchise, Chicago Med has been a huge hit since it first aired in 2015. While Chicago Fire and Chicago PD follow the city’s firefighters and police officers, respectively, Chicago Med revolves around the doctors and nurses of Gaffney Chicago Medical Center’s emergency department as they save lives the best way they know. And according to a report by PEOPLE, Chicago Med season 5 will show the conclusion of some character arcs. Production has begun, and casting directors of the show are currently looking for actors and actresses to work on some scenes. One is a real paramedic. Applicant should be male and should be 20 to 60 years old to qualify. Medical students are also needed. Talent should be 22 to 29 years old to be considered. The show is also looking for female nurses who will work multiple days as part of Chicago Med’s core group of nurses. Applicant should be 18 to 45 years old. Casting directors are also seeking a pair of Asian or part-Asian twins and a male stand-in for a main character.
