With her stick thin and willowy figure, it is not hard to see why this has casued some widespread debate on plastic surgery and eating disorders caused by this uber perfect image of womanhood. A graphic designer turned toy maker Nickolay Lamm has created the Lammily doll and she is quite the opposite of our picture perfect Barbie. Perfectly named as the Lammily doll, the physical features of the doll coincide with the average measurement of a typical 19 year old girl.

Lammily was the mere product of an art project in July of last year before it became available for purchase and delivery. “The ‘imperfect’ nature of it isn’t an issue. I feel it makes the doll more relatable.”
Toy maker Nickolay Lammily said in an interview. The Lammily doll is set to have more fashion options this coming January.
