After the massive box office success from the first installment of James Dashner’s The Maze Runner, the production team is now gearing up for the sequel. Casting directors are looking for ectras, age 18 – 19, who could work on the upcoming film, The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials.
Just recently, 20th Century Fox released the first part of the trilogy, The Maze Runner, in the United States. The film features the story of sixteen-year-old Thomas, portrayed by Dylan O’ Brien, who wakes up in an elevator with no memory of who he is, only to find out that he is in the middle of a huge maze, together with other boys. Thomas works with them so as to escape from the ever-changing labyrinth.
From here, the story continues in the Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, as they escape and face more challenges.
According to James, “The Gladers have escaped the Maze, but now they face an even more treacherous challenge on the open roads of a devastated planet and Wicked has made sure to adjust the variables and stack the odds against them. Can Thomas survive in such a violent world?”
The Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials is slated for release on September 18, 2015.
