Oscar-winner Jennifer Lawrence is now a pop star.

Lawrence’s recording of the song, The Hanging Tree, has made it on top of Australia, UK, and US charts. One of the original soundtracks for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, the song dominated the Billboard and the U.K. sales charts since it was released .

The lyrics can be read in Suzanne Collins’ book, The Hunger Games series.

The Hanging Tree is said to follow Anna Kendrick’s The Cup Song, which became a surprise hit after it was sung in Pitch Perfect. However, Lawrence doesn’t want to follow the same route. She is definitely known now as the most unenthusiastic singer making chart-topping hits.

“I do not like singing in front of other people. That’s like my biggest fear. I cried on the set that day, it was awful,” she said. Still, she sounds good on the track and her raspy voice is a good match to the dark narrative message of the music.

Lawrence stars in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 as Katniss Everdeen, just like with the other Hunger Games movies that preceded it. As for the movie, it has raked more than $480 million, 10 days after it was released.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is in theaters now.
