Famous actor Jackie Chan was heartbroken when he found out that his son, Jaycee Chan pleaded guilty in Dongcheng District Court in Beijing.
No Excuse for a Famous Actor’s Son

August, the police raided Jaycee’s home. Believe it or not, they found more than a hundred gram of Marijuana. He will face a maximum of three years for being caught possessing illegal drugs.
Chan, 32, was with Kai Ko, 23, a Taiwanese movie star, in his home. They were believed to be involved with illegal drugs. However, two weeks after their arrest, Ko was released. The movie star was charged for drug use and was sentenced with a 14-day administrative detention.
The arrest only proves that regardless of fame and influence, anyone can be sentenced to jail and will have to pay the prize. This is how strong Chinese laws are.

Chan confessed that he doesn’t even know how to deal with Marijuana. He only gave information. On the other hand, he added and admitted that he has been using drugs for eight years.

Ko and Chan are tested positive for using illegal drugs.
Jaycee was ordered to pay a total of 2,000 Yuan or $322. According to foxnews.com he explains that he deserve to be punished since he violated the law.

You can imagine how Jackie Chan would feel knowing his son will be spending half a year in jail. Any father can relate to the famous actor. It was in 2009, when Beijing named him the official “Narcotics Control Ambassador”.
It’s a combination of shame and sadness for the actor himself. He is heartbroken knowing his son’s behavior. To a father, this must be a sensitive case. Fox News says that he will not use his connections nor interfere with the case.
The actor still continues to hope that one day; his singer-actor son will soon become the next anti-drug ambassador just as he used to.
