HBO’s ‘The Recruiters’ Open Casting Call

HBO is having a new TV show titled The Recruiters. In line with this, the producers have scheduled  two open casting calls  to look for talents to play lead and extra roles.

The Recruiters follows the police’s investigation on a number of young men from Minnesota who left to fight for al-Shabab in East Africa in 2007. But recently, 10 of them were charged with planning to join ISIS, a terror group in Syria.

Since filming is about to start, the casting team is holding open casting calls at Thistletown Community Centre, 925 Albion Road, Etiboke, ON, on December 18, from 11 :00 AM to 5:00 PM, and at Somali Immigration Aid Org., 1778 Weston Road, Toronto, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

They are looking to find a male, aged 17 to 25, to play the lead role young Somali man. They are also seeking males and females, aged 18 to 60, to work as extras in a certain scene.
