Producers are now looking for talents to fill in background roles in an upcoming episode for HBO’s television series, The Leftovers.
In line with this, the production team is looking for real people and families of all ages and ethnicities to work as extras in the series.
Work schedule will be from Mondays to Fridays and will kick start on April 27 and run through September. Minimum pay is $64 per day for 8 hours with overtime pay. Work days are generally 12 hours, which is equivalent to $112 in stipend. Meals and snacks will be provided on the set during work days.
This is a part time employment and will not require talents to be present on the set every day. Opportunity is available for those who wish to work for one day or for multiple days.
Casting is also open for specific roles and they are now looking for Hispanic and Native American babies to portray the role of newborn babies in the series. This role will only require the babies to be on the set for four hours for one day.
Small or prematurely-born babies will be a plus for this role. The pay for this role is $200.
The production is also seeking African American babies, who are between two and six months old, to be a part of the series. This role is open to single babies, twins and triplets. Babies who will be considered for the role will work in the series for four hours on multiple days.
The babies chosen for the roles will be cared for by a baby nurse on the set. Pay rate is $400.
The casting directors are also in search of old, new or homemade-looking RVs, pop ups and campers on trucks. RVs will have an extra pay of $225 dollars, while pop ups and campers will get an extra $175 dollars per day. Please take note that you cannot stay in the RV or your camper truck if it is being used on set.
Talents of Asian or Caucasian descent are sought for specialty characters to be used in a scene which will be shot on May 19, 2015. They also need a bearded Caucasian male with a small build on the same shooting date.
You will be compensated with $64 for eight hours of work, and additional fees are paid for overtime.
