Early Life

Paul William Walker IV, also known as Paul Walker, was born on September 12, 1973. He was born in Glendale, California and raised in San Fernando Valley. His parents, Cheryl née Crabtree and Paul William Walker III raised him as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After finishing high school in Village Christian School (Class 1991) in Sun Valley, California, he went to a few community colleges with a major in marine biology.

Entertainment Career

Paul Walker is known for his role in the Fast & Furious franchise. He played alongside Vin Diesel as one of the franchise’s lead protagonist. Walker plays the LAPD agent, Brian O’Conner in the first Fast & Furious flick. He reprised his roles in the film series except in Tokyo Drift.

His TV Career

He started his showbiz exposure at the age of two. He had done Pampers TV commercial. In 1985, he started his acting career on TV shows. He got roles in television shows including Highway to Heaven, Who’s The Boss?, Touched By An Angel, The Young and The Restless, Charles In Charge, Throb among others. After a lot of starring roles, he became one of the leads in Tammy and the T-Rex.

Film Credits

Walker’s film debut was with Monster in the Closet, a horror-comedy. His first feature film debut was Meet the Deedles. This gained him instant fame and successful roles which made him stop his TV career. In 1998, he starred with Reese Witherspoon in Pleasantville. He starred in teen movies, including She’s All That, Varsity Blues, and The Skulls.

Even after getting tied up with Fast & Furious film series, he also starred in other movies. He had lead roles in Joy Ride, Into The Blue, In 2006, both Timeline and Flags of Our Fathers. Running Scared and Eight Below garnered box office spots. He also did the independent film, The Lazarus Project. He also appeared in the crime-drama Takers.

Personal Life and Charity Works

Whenever Walker is not on set, he does charity works for his organization. The nonprofit group Reach Out Worldwide helps those people who become victims of natural calamities. In 2010, he came to aid victims in Chile who experienced the devastating effect of the 8.8 magnitude earthquake. He aided the 2010 Haiti earthquake victims that happened in February 27.

Walker also spent time being a marine biologist. He fulfilled his dream to be in National Geographic Channel. He spent days with the crew led by Chris Fischer at the coast of Mexico. Expedition Great White Shark premiered in June 2010 which features 7 types of Great White Sharks.

On the day of his death, he was with his Reach Out Worldwide group to aid Typhoon Haiyan victims in the Philippines. The event was held in Santa Clarita, Southern California. The event was also sponsored by Always Evolving Performance Motors which his best friend and business partner, Roger Rodas.

Tragic Death

Paul Walker was confirmed dead by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department on Saturday, November 30, 2013. At 3:30 PM, Walker and Roger Rodas died in a fiery car crash after losing control of the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT that crashed in a light pole and tree. Shortly after the incident, Walker’s publicist, Ame van Iden confirmed Walker’s premature death.
