Covert Affairs cancelled after five seasons

It has been reported that the series low rating has finally axed it from USA’s roster of shows.

The television spy series focuses on the story of a young CIA trainee Annie Walker as a field agent. Starring Piper Perabo, the series debuted in 2010 to a total of 4.88 million viewers.  Since its debut, the series has struggled in maintaining its viewership in the succeeding seasons.
