‘Being Mary Jane’ Season 3 Now Casting for Featured Roles

BET has announced the production of the third season of its hit drama television series Being Mary Jane, and they are on the lookout for talents to play various featured roles that is offered for filming of the show.

The series, originally titled as Single Black Female, revolves around the professional and private life of a successful broadcast journalist as she searches for her Mr. Right, and according to BET:

“Mary Jane Paul has it all. She’s a successful TV news anchor, entirely self-sufficient , an all-around powerhouse who remains devoted to a family that doesn’t share her motivation. As Mary Jane juggles her life, her work, and her commitment to her family, we find out how far she’s willing to go to find the puzzle pieces that she and society insist are missing from her life as a single Black female.”

Behind the lead character of Mary Jane Paul is Gabrielle Union.

­­­ Currently, the filming is done in Atlanta, Georgia, and ­­they are seeking male and female talents of at least 18 years old from diverse ethnicities to act for paid featured roles such as doctors, nurses, orderlies, EMTs, and medical professionals.

Also, they want to cast for the parts of security guards, police officers, and paparazzi, while they look for lawyer and executive-type actors.

Those who are interested to play as news reporters, producers, and TV crew are welcome to apply for the project.

The talent fee for any of the roles stated above is at $75 for eight hours of filming with an overtime pay.
