‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip’ Now Casting Extras

Producers and casting directors of the much-awaited sequel of the computer-animated film Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip are looking for extras to fill out male and female background roles. They are looking for  talents who can appear as part of an audience as well as college students, movie stars, paparazzi, actors, roadie types, and street actors. They are also looking for men who can act as athletes, body guards, engineers, bikers and cowboys. Women are also needed to be cast as cowgirls, biker chicks, beautiful women and beautiful LA female types. All these extras will perform as background actors in the newest addition to the Alvin and the Chipmunks franchise, which will directed by Walter Beck. The film will feature Jason Lee as Dave, and Tony Hale as the villain, with Matthew Gray Gubler giving voice to Simon, Justin Long to Alvin and Jesse McCartney to Theodore. Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip is slated for theatrical release on December 23, 2015. While not much is known about the plot of the upcoming sequel, it will still follow the musical adventures of the three singing chipmunks, Alvin, Simon and Theodore. Application submissions will be accepted until March 25, 2015. Interested union and non-union actors from Atlanta, Georgia can apply for the roles.
