ABC’s New TV Series ‘When We Rise’ Now Casting

ABC is now casting speaking roles for the TV show When We Rise, which will be filmed in San Francisco, California. Casting directors are looking for an actor that looks like Harvey Milk, who was an LGBT rights activist. Milk was the first openly gay politician to be elected to public office in California. When We Rise follows the personal and political struggles, triumphs, and setbacks of a family of LGBT men and women who helped the US civil rights movement from its start in the twentieth century to its success today. This project has been in development for more than two years but has just recently been given the green light for production. The casting calls are for actors who look like Harvey Milk, so please look online for pictures of Milk. Please do not apply if you are not local or do not fit the description.
